Hauraki Gulf

Share Delight - WesthavenShare Delight is a Farr 1020 (34') cruiser/racer that serves as the classroom for Mike Lanigan's Gulfwind Sailing Academy. An exhilarating vessel to sail, she is small enough for students to "feel" the effect of wind and sail trim, yet large enough to be comfortable and forgiving of inexperienced crew.
Instructor Mike Lanigan runs carefully structured Royal Yachting Association courses for small numbers that provide a thorough grounding in theoretical and practical aspects of safe yacht handling. The courses include night sailing and live aboard options and can be personalised to suit your requirements and travel plans. RYA courses are the internationally recognised standard for Small Boat Seamanship and their yachtmaster certificate is the basis of commercial accreditation for employment in the world's superyacht industry.
