 Different Drummer is a Lotus 10.6, an easily two handed cruiser-racer with a well earned reputation as one of NZ's finest class yachts. Managed by Kim Borgstrom, who used to run The Moorings Bay of Islands charter fleet, she is one of a professionally managed selection of charter yachts that are available at remarkably affordable rates.All Fairwind Charter's vessels are carefully equipped with an extensive set of charts, an autopilot and all cruising gear and they have a cruising range from Cape Karikari to Cape Colville at the southern end of the Hauraki Gulf. Enquiries about one way charters between Auckland and the Bay of Islands are welcome. Not confident of your sailing ability? An instructor-skipper can join you for as long as you need. |
